HOLIDAYS are my most important thing.

When it comes to priorities, it’s health, wealth and holidays. I don’t like real life!

As a child we holidayed in Marbella a lot and that’s continued as an adult.

I’ve been lucky enough to buy a home there and I spend as much time as possible in it.

It’s my favourite place in the world.

I had gorgeous holidays with my parents, then I had great single holidays with my friends and now we have lovely family times.

We go for fabulous meals and then relaxing walks along the beach.

If you want the fun element of the clubs and bars, they’re all there, too.

It used to be even more upmarket before mass tourism, but we tend to go to the places the Spanish go.

The whole culture, the fiestas and the fact that you can be sitting out with the kids having a meal at midnight, is so appealing.

And it’s at its best out of season, especially March and April.

I also adore Italy and I remember childhood holidays there, having ice creams on the beach. We go there to ski now.

Europe in general has a feel I don’t think you really get anywhere else in the world.

The most exotic holiday was probably when Paul was 40 and we went to the Maldives.

The girls were just three and eight months at the time, but they’ve grown up on planes really, so it wasn’t difficult.

We had an amazing time and it’s the place to escape reality and do absolutely nothing.

In the UK my top places are very different, London and Anglesey.

I used to live in London and I try and get back once a month to get that big city buzz.

And the peace and beaches of Anglesey are great.

My friend has a caravan there and we sit and drink champagne while the kids run around a field.
