The follow-up to 2012’s Skyfall is rumoured to be Daniel Craig’s last outing as 007.
“I do think he’s the ultimate Bond.. the first time I saw him play Bond he actually made me cry,” said co-star Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) in an interview on BBC Radio 2 this morning.
Craig has neither confirmed or denied that this will be his final appearance as the iconic spy.
Here’s what the lucky few who have seen Spectre had to say:
First up, our man Darryl Smith:
The yoyo ride that is Daniel Craig's tenure as Bond continues with #Spectre, which is bad news if you know how much I loved Skyfall

I liked Lea Seydoux & would have liked more of Christoph Waltz. But pace of first 75mins has it playing catch up for rest of movie #SPECTRE

US website Variety.com says:
“Sam Mendes’ second consecutive Bond outing again passes its physical with flying colours”
The Times’ Kate Muir gives Daniel Craig’s latest outing five stars:
“This fourth outing for Daniel Craig as James Bond is achingly cool, as sleek and powerful as the silver Aston Martin DB10 that races through the movie.”
It’s five stars too from The Telegraph’s Robbie Collin:
“Spectre pulls it off in the grand old Fleming style. It’s an act of pure cinematic necromancy.”
The Shortlist’s David Cornish:
My #SPECTRE review: 4/5 if you love old Bond films, 3/5 if you love new Bond films (Casino Royale, Skyfall).

Brian Viner of the Daily Mail gives the film four stars:
“Spectre is a proper joyride of a James Bond film.”
And those who weren’t lucky enough to be invited to the premiere are getting excited:

Full on nerding out over #Spectre release on Monday. Couldnt have picked two better villains than Andrew Scott and Christopher Waltz #Bond

Seen the teeniest of a spoiler for #Spectre (by accident) and am excited to see it now. I am so easily pleased!
