A LEARNER driver in Aberdeen last week set a miserable new Scottish record.
The DVLA revealed the unnamed woman failed the theory part of her driving test a staggering 40 times.
Drivers must first pass their theory test before being allowed on to the tougher practical exam. News of the hapless Aberdonian’s unenviable new record came after a study showed that 80% of drivers struggled to identify some of the most common road signs.
Last week The Sunday Post featured a quiz which put your knowledge of road signs to the test.
You told us you loved it — so this week we’ve come up with an even tougher quiz made up of sample theory questions from the DVLA.
If you score 17 or above you’ve hit the magic 86% required to pass the real theory test and show you’re king of the road…
This is only part of the official theory test – there’s also the hazard perception test
