THE best paid jobs for graduates are analysts, consultants and software engineers, research has shown.
Jobs site Glassdoor published a table of the highest paying jobs, with £34,366 on offer for a graduate analyst, followed by just under £29,000 for a consultant, £28,300 for a software engineer and just under £27,000 for a mechanical engineer.
Other graduate jobs paid just under the UK’s national average salary of £27,600, including software developers, management trainees and recruitment consultants.
Jon Ingham of Glassdoor said. “Graduate job seekers should endeavour to think wider than just the monthly pay cheque.
“For example, what is the culture like? Does the employer offer competitive perks and benefits? Is it a sociable environment? Do they offer training and mentoring? The more you know, the better the decision you can make.”
