It is understood the midfielder was involved in a training ground bust-up and has been told not to report back to the club until Monday. According to The Sun, Barton was involved in a verbal spat with Andy Halliday on Tuesday. Barton signed from Burnley during the summer but has failed to impress since arriving in Glasgow.
