MARK WARBURTON faces a one match touchline ban after being served a notice of complaint by the SFA.
The Rangers boss is alleged to have ‘repeatedly used offensive, abusing, and insulting language towards match officials’ at the end of the match against Aberdeen on Sunday.
Warburton was angered by referee John Beaton’s decision to penalise a late challenge by James Tavernier.
James Maddison scored the match winner for the Dons from the resultant free kick.
The SFA’s compliance officer has offered Warburton a one match ban, which Rangers have until October 3 to respond to.
If it is not accepted, the matter will go to a disciplinary hearing on October 13.
