Police whistleblowers claim top brass worked them to “breaking point” during the Games.
Horror stories surfaced of officers working 14-hour shifts without breaks.
Others are said to have been forced to go without food or water during day-long patrols, many of which went into overtime.
There were even allegations two cops wet themselves while on a 12-hour perimeter patrol.
And The Sunday Post revealed in August that the public had been left aghast by some officers’ “heavy-handed tactics” during the Games.
Scottish Police Federation chairman Brian Docherty said at the time: “We have received complaints from officers about the way their shifts have been changed at the last minute, the length of shift they’re having to do, and the travelling they’re having to do to get to and from events.”
