RAIL passengers are facing long delays at Perth.
ScotRail said rail users could expect delays until at least 9pm.
The company blamed a signalling fault between Perth and Gleneagles, which has been affecting services since 4pm today.
It has affected a host of journeys across Scotland, including those between Glasgow and Inverness; Aberdeen; Dundee and between Edinburgh and Perth.
But they have come under criticism for failing to provide passengers with any information or a replacement bus service.
UPDATE: #Perth – Disruption is expected until 21:00. Sorry if you're affected by this. ^L

A ScotRail spokeswoman told The Sunday Post: “Our engineers are working to repair the fault as quickly as possible, however, the latest estimate for the line to re-open is 9 pm but it may be slightly later before services return to normal.
“We’ve been advising passengers to travel via Edinburgh if possible, and arranged ticket acceptance with other train operators for passengers travelling towards Aberdeen and Inverness.
“Extra staff have been deployed at key stations to help customers get where they need to go.
“Customers delayed more than 30 minutes are entitled to compensation under our Delay Repay guarantee provided they keep hold of their tickets.”
