THE SPFL have announced that Celtic and Aberdeen will receive equal ticket allocations for the League Cup Final.
The Hampden clash, which takes place on Sunday 27 November at 3pm, will also be shown live on BT Sport.
A sparse crowd in the Dons’ semi-final victory against Morton raised questions over how the final’s tickets would be shared between the clubs.
But it has been decided that tickets will be split 50/50.
Aberdeen fans will be seated in the West Stand and sections of the South and North Stands, with Celtic in the East Stand and the rest of the South and North Stands.
Tickets will cost £30-£35 for adults and £15-£35 for under 16s.
SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: “The SPFL would like to congratulate both Aberdeen and Celtic for making it to the first showpiece final of the Scottish football season, with its return to a pre-Christmas date proving very popular with supporters.
“We are pleased to announce that both clubs will enjoy an equal share of tickets for the 2016 Betfred Cup Final which is shaping up to be another brilliant footballing occasion.”
Betfred Head of Media Mark Pearson said: “Following on from the excitement of the semi-finals we now look forward to a terrific final between Aberdeen and Celtic bringing this year’s tournament to a close and we would like to thank all clubs, players and fans for making the 2016 Betfred Cup a great success.”
The clubs will announce ticket sale information via their own channels.
