Are the safety fears of senior NHS staff justified? Tell us what you think!
YourView K would like to invite you to have your say on our latest topic The NHS and A&E Departments.
The issue has been brought into focus following the Royal College of Nursing annual conference, where senior nursing staff voiced fears about the number of inebriated people they have to contend with.
They believe such people should be treated in special “drunk tanks” where they can sober up without disturbing patients and staff.
With alcohol-related hospital admissions soaring and with attacks on A&E staff becoming more of a concern, The Sunday Post is examining the issue and asking if the concerns of senior NHS staff are justified.
