Memorabilia from past shows and events, alongside furniture and catering equipment will go on sale in the Union Street venue’s main hall on both Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 5pm.
Following the thrift sale and decommissioning of the building, the Music Hall is expected to be closed for 20 months while work takes place.
Aberdeen Performing Arts, the organisation that operates the hall, says improvements to the venue are set to include a new performance studio and a new creative learning space.
The box office and reception will be moved to the centre of the venue – for a warmer welcome.
Access issues will also be resolved with a new ramped entrance and access to the balcony.
