IF you want to raise cash for our Oor Hoose appeal for Robin House children’s hospice, HAIR is the perfect way to do it.
All you have to do is give your head a magnificent makeover. Go on . . . we Hair Dare you!
CHAS is looking for as many people as possible to give their lovely locks a wild new look – but don’t worry, it’s just for a day.
Hair Dare will take place on Friday June 24, and it’s a great opportunity to raise a smile as well as raising cash.
Here are some amazing ideas to help in your planning:
- Show off your style – get sponsored to have the craziest hairstyle for a day or more.
- Hold a sponsored wax – show your friends, family and work colleagues you mean business by shaving off those luscious locks or waxing off that body hair. Ouch!
- Put your “bed head” to good use by sharing your “just out of bed” look on social media (using the hashtags #HairDare #OorHoose), donate to Oor Hoose and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
Anything goes for Hair Dare – whatever works for you works for us!
We’ve already had one set of guinea pigs . . . we mean volunteers . . . showing how daring they can be with their hair.
The Alton family bravely let the stylists at Charlie Miller in Edinburgh loose on their heads.
Mum Diane said: “My wee ones can’t wait to get ready for school when Hair Dare comes around!
“We’ve done a few trials for fun to see what works. They’ve been encouraging their friends to sign up and raise money for CHAS too.”
If you want to take part in Hair Dare call Debbie Mooney at CHAS on 0141 779 6182 or email debbiemooney@chas.org.uk for your fundraising pack.
Don’t forget to share all your pictures with us online using the hashtags #HairDare #OorHoose
