MERCURY Prize nominee C Duncan is among the acts announced for next year’s Brew at the Bog music festival.
The two-day event, held at Bogbain Farm near Inverness, showcases up and coming Scottish bands.
Over 3000 people attended the event last year and organisers are promising that this year’s will have even more variety in the line-up.
Other acts on the bill announced today include The Van T’s, Blazin’ Fiddles, KLO, JR Green, Springbreak, The Little Kicks, Pinact, HQFU and White.
Organisers sent out cryptic clues in the form of a selection of tracks on cassette tapes with only a hashtag and a date on the front.
Brew at the Bog’s festival organiser, Yvonne Murray, said: “Brew at the Bog prides itself on doing things a little bit differently and that includes straying away from boring ways to unveil our line-up.
“We decided to tap into the nostalgia of getting a really great tape full of bands you might not necessarily know and dot these around the country to get everyone talking about what they were listening to.”
