Described as an imaginative and unusual extravaganza, Cirque Berserk doesn’t look anything like a traditional circus troupe. Audiences have been thrilled by the group’s extreme trapeze, crossbow-firing contortionists and incredibly talented clowns on their first UK tour. They’ve even got what’s described as the world’s most dangerous circus act appearing for the first time on these shores the legendary Globe of Terror. Their motorcyclists speed at over 60 mph round a steel cage at the same time. Cirque Berserk challenged me to stand in the middle of the Globe of Terror while two of their expert performers orbit the cage at terrifying speeds. Cirque Berserk are appearing at Dundee, The Gardyne Theatre Jan 29-31. Edinburgh, Playhouse, Feb 1-3. www.atgtickets.com/ Box Office: 0844 8717648.
