The star cook is calling for a “sugar tax” on soft drinks to combat Britain’s obesity crisis and wants a levy of 20p per litre on sugary fizzy drinks. And he said he’s glad he’s trimmer while calling for such measures to be implemented. He said: “It totally fits with this campaign. I can’t remember exactly how much weight I’ve lost I think 12kg.” Jamie also said he no longer drinks alcohol during the week. The chef also revealed he hasno plans to have more children although his wife Jools would “love” to.
