A driver has been caught on camera attempting to fill up their all-electric Tesla with fuel at a petrol station in America.
The footage, which was shot from a car parked behind, shows the lady scanning all areas of her Tesla Model S in search of a fuel filler cap.
During one point in the video she even finds the car’s electrical charging port and attempts to insert the fuel nozzle into it.
She also appears to use her mobile phone to call for assistance while inadvertently opening the boot in search of some way of filling the car up with fuel.
At one point she even gets her credit card out, ready to pay for the fuel she hopes to use.
Finally, after around three minutes, a man from inside the filming car jumps out to inform the lady of the reason why she is unable to find a fuel filler cap.
The model in question, a Tesla Model S 100D, is an all-electric vehicle capable of travelling over 300 miles on a single charge. It’s also impressively fast, capable of hitting 60mph in just 3.6 seconds – but not when run on petrol!
