Seat will showcase a new vehicle designed to improve urban travel at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
Teased in an image showing an array of headlights with a backlit Seat logo below, this new machine looks set to be compact in its design — potentially with similar dimensions to the Renault Twizy.
The Spanish firm has not confirmed if this particular vehicle will feature autonomous technology, but it’s a strong possibility. Seat is currently working with communications company Telefonica on a ‘5G Connected Car’ test, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain. as a step towards driverless vehicles.
All will be revealed at MWC on February 25, taking place in Barcelona. It’s an event that focuses on mobile technology.
Seat has already taken steps toward introducing urban-focused transport solutions into its product portfolio. Last year, it teamed with Segway to bring the Seat eXS — an electric scooter that comes with LED lights, customisable lighting and even cruise control.
