FORMER Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt has swapped sexy strutting for cooking up a storm on Celebrity MasterChef.
“I couldn’t have chosen something so far out of my comfort zone,” confides Kimberly, who married British model Max Rogers last year and now has a six-month-old daughter, Willow.
“But since becoming a wife and mum, food has become a big priority.
“I think it’s the foundation of keeping a family together.
“I come from fast food America. So a lot of the meals with my family was Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Burger King.
“I really wanted to make a change in my daughter’s life and hopefully create very different relationship with food for her than I had growing up.
“I’m quite inspired by families that can have a meal together of an evening and share their stories of the day.
“My mum and I didn’t really have much time in the kitchen together and I want it to be something Willow and I can do together.”
Kimberly says cooking in front of John Torode and Gregg Wallace proved a more daunting experience than she could ever have imagined.
“I was absolutely terrified,” laughs the 33-year-old, who is joined this week by Arlene Phillips, Rylan Clark, actor Craig Gazey and ex-Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere.
“It was so intense. John and Gregg make it quite intimidating. As soon as I stepped into that kitchen and the clock started ticking I was absolutely shaking like a leaf.
“Willow is just on purees at the moment, but now is the time to be experimenting and learning.
“Hopefully by the time she’s 10 I’ll be the most amazing cook ever!”
