ABERDEEN have postponed talks over their potential move to a new stadium at Kingsford.
The club have long made it clear that they intend to move away from Pittodrie in the new future, and have previously unveiled plans for a new stadium as well as training and community facilities near Westhill.
A report was due to be discussed with councillors next week, but the club has decided to delay a decision to allow further planning to go ahead.
Chairman Stewart Milne said: “This is a once in a generation project with major implications for the club, the city and the wider region.
“It is also an application with a degree of legal and planning complexity that needs to be carefully considered.
“We have therefore decided to request that our application be deferred to a future meeting of the full council.”
