There is always pressure in Old Firm games.
But today, I think the vast majority of it is on Rangers.
If Celtic win, it’s going to be very, very difficult for the Gers to stop nine-in-a-row.
I wouldn’t quite crown the Hoops as champions yet.
They wouldn’t have quite the sort of advantage that Liverpool have, for instance.
Even so, they wouldn’t be too far away from building an insurmountable lead.
Rangers will know that – and it will weigh on their minds. Steven Gerrard has to find a way to deal with that, and to help his players do the same.
But their top man, Alfredo Morelos, will have something absolutely massive on his mind.
He still hasn’t scored against Celtic, despite having countless chances at Hampden in the League Cup Final at the start of the month.
If you think that won’t be a monkey on his back, you’re having a laugh.
Celtic’s last performance against the Gers at Hampden was poor, which might be a question mark for them.
But they’re at Parkhead this time, so they will have to turn up.
The crowd will be right behind them and Neil Lennon will leave them in no doubt as to what’s expected.
If they meet the required standards, I can’t see Rangers winning.
