RANGERS have announced that former director Barry Scott has rejoined the club’s board.
Hong-Kong based businessman Scott resigned from his role at Ibrox in May, alongside Paul Murray, having served as a director since December 2017.
A statement on the club’s website said: “Rangers International Football Club PLC is pleased to announce that Barry Scott is rejoining its Board of Directors.
“Barry left the Board for a short time earlier this year in order to attend to other business affairs and the Board is delighted that he is now able to offer his services again and contribute to the continued success of the Company.”
Lifelong Rangers fan Scott was among a group of investors who helped provide the club loans to pay off another loan from Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct retail company.
