POLICE searching for missing Scots musician Scott Hutchison have found the body of a man.
Formal identification has yet to take place but Mr Hutchison’s family has been informed.
The Frightened Rabbit lead singer went missing on Wednesday, having last been seen on CCTV leaving the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry.
The body was discovered at Port Edgar at around 8:30pm on Thursday.
Concerns had grown for Mr Hutchison’s welfare after he posted on Twitter: “Be so good to everyone you love. It’s not a given. I’m so annoyed that it’s not. I didn’t live by that standard and it kills me. Please, hug your loved ones.
“I’m away now. Thanks.”
Worried bandmates, including brother Grant, and fans took to social media to spread the word about his disappearance and to urge anyone who had any information to get in touch.
