BREAST cancer charity Walk the Walk is looking for more volunteers to help at this weekend’s MoonWalk Scotland.
The Edinburgh event sees thousands take on the challenge of walking the city’s streets overnight, with routes ranging in distance between 6.55 miles and an incredible 52.4 miles.
It’ll bring a splash of colour, with women and men wearing brightly decorated bras power walking a quarter, half, full or double marathon from midnight onwards to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including working as marshals along the route, helping to keep the walkers on course and motivated to keep going.
The charity are urging anyone who wants to help and who isn’t taking part in the walk to donate a night’s sleep on Saturday to help make it all run smoothly.

More than 80,000 walkers have taken part in The MoonWalk Scotland since the event started in 1996, raising over £20.5 million to improve the lives of those living with cancer in the country.
