CELTIC have announced the signing of defender Marvin Compper from RB Leipzig.
The 32-year-old will join up with the Hoops squad in January having signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Scottish champions.

The experienced Bundesliga player has one cap for Germany, having featured in a friendly against England in 2008.

He’ll be paraded in front of fans at Celtic’s match against Partick Thistle this evening.
Compper will have to miss out in the Hoops’ Europa League campaign, however, having featured for his previous club in Europe already this season.
