Wandering through Glasgow’s busiest shopping street, this deer is the latest example of wildlife visiting our deserted towns and cities.
The roe deer was filmed on Buchanan Street, Glasgow, by a city-centre worker in the early morning.
The woman posted a clip of the animal with the comment: “Still can’t get over the fact there was a deer outside my work on Buchanan Street at six o’clock this morning.”
She added: “The earth is healing.”

Rare or timid wildlife appearing on normally busy streets has been a positive of the lockdown.
They include a herd of feral goats wandering around Glen Coe and grazing in the garden of the Clachaig Inn; sparrowhawks seen hunting pigeons in Glasgow city centre and a herd of mountain goats making appearances in the Welsh town of Llandudno.
