Kelvingrove Bandstand will host two summer shows by Dr. Hook starring Dennis Locorriere next year.
The Glasgow outdoor venue will welcome the legendary act on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June 2020.
The announcement marks the first scheduled live shows since the band were forced to cancel a run of sold out dates as part of an extensive 50th anniversary world tour earlier this year.
In a video message to the band’s loyal Scottish fans, Locorriere said: “It’s been quite a strange year for me folks. I was so gutted that the band and I had to cancel so many shows.
“I was particularly heartbroken about not coming to see all my friends in Glasgow at Kelvingrove in June. We have such a great time there, you guys are wonderful.
“But the good news is that in 2020, on June 20 and June 21 we will be back for two shows! The band is geared up and ready to go and we’ll see you there!”
Tickets for both shows go on sale on Monday 4 November at 9am and are available at 432presents.com
