TRAIN services through Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket were disrupted on Friday January 23 due to trespassing on the railway line.
Police were at the scene at 9.18am after responding to reports of a naked man trackside at Edinburgh Waverley, heading towards to the castle.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: “Some of the reports were of a naked man on the tracks.
“The man has been detained by police and is being checked over by the ambulance service.”
UPDATE: The trespasser has been removed from the railway. Thanks to @BTP for responding. We’ll work to restore services as quickly as we can at #EdinburghWaverley. ^CT
