A Lanark-based biscuit factory are on the hunt for a ‘Master Biscuitier’ to join their team – offering someone the chance to taste biscuits for a living.
Border Biscuits, an independently run biscuits maker, have advertised the position with a salary of up to £40,000 a year, with one of the key tasks including taste-testing their products.
The job will also entail launching products from the kitchen table to production, creating new flavours, as well as helping to lead the team in continuing to drive innovation, quality and sustainability throughout the business.
The team say they are on the hunt for someone with finely-tuned taste buds and a talent for the technical side of baking.
