FEARNE COTTON will present ITV’s Lorraine for the first time next week.
She will front the morning programme for the week while Lorraine Kelly journeys to the Antarctic to trace the footsteps of polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton.
Cotton, 35, said: “It’s going to be such a fun week, I’m really looking forward to hosting the show while Lorraine enjoys her trip of her lifetime.”
Lorraine editor Sue Walton said: “I’m delighted that Fearne, such a popular and versatile broadcaster, is presenting the show for a week.
“Fearne thrives on live, and her natural empathy, spontaneity, not forgetting her sense of fun will all shine through in what will be a special week of shows.”
This week, Christine Lampard has been fronting the show while Kelly is on holiday.
