One of Edinburgh’s most famous cocktail bars will reopen from October 1.
The Register Club, located inside the capital’s iconic St Andrew Square luxury serviced apartments, will feature a brand new Afternoon Tea experience when it welcomes visitors again this Autumn.
Guests are invited to dine within the spectacular surroundings of Cheval The Edinburgh Grand’s fourth floor bar, with homemade scones, Scottish jam and sweet treats as well as a savoury selection using seasonal produce from artisan suppliers across Scotland.
Afternoon teas start from £28pp, and champagne afternoon tea, which includes a glass of Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve, starts from £38pp.
In addition to the afternoon tea, a new look food and drinks menu will be available. Guests will enjoy an array of light bites, nibbles, and sharing plates with a Scottish twist.
All food on the menu is locally sourced and seasonal. Expect to see haggis bon bon, baked taleggio and ox cheek and stout pie on the menu, with small plates from £4 each and larger plates at £12.
Renowned for its innovative cocktails, the mixologists at The Register Club serve an extensive array of drinks. From the curated classics such as Fifty-Fifty martinis and Singapore slings, to a selection of whisky-based cocktails, there is something to suit any guests’ preference. Cocktails start from £9pp.

Cheval The Edinburgh Grand has introduced a host of stringent new hygiene and cleaning protocols and social distancing measures, in line with government advice on coroanvirus.
