CELTIC’S Stuart Armstrong has finally put pen to paper on a new contract.
The Hoops have announced that the 25-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year deal at the club, ending speculation over his future.
Armstrong told the Celtic website: “I am delighted to sign this new contract with Celtic. I have had a tremendous time at the Club so far and it has been a period in my footballing career which I have enjoyed immensely.”

Aberdeen have been fined by UEFA following crowd trouble during their Europa League defeat to Apollo Limassol.
Dons fans clashed with stewards at full time, resulting in a 10,000 euro fine and a warning from the governing body over not having stewards travelling with fans.
Apollon Limassol copped a 27,000 euro fine for a number of offences during the same match. (Evening Express)

However, according to the Telegraph they will face competition from West Brom. The Baggies’ interest does not, however, mean that Jonny Evans would be allowed to join Manchester City.
