Dundee have signed former Rangers midfielder Jamie Ness on a two-year deal, with an option of a further year.
Ness spent seven seasons south of the border with a number of clubs following his departure from Rangers in 2012.

He made just 18 appearances for the Ibrox side having graduated from their academy, the most memorable being in an Old Firm clash with Celtic where he scored a wondergoal from long range.
Ness has struggled with injuries throughout his career, and after moving to Stoke he had loan spells with Leyton Orient and Crewe Alexandra.
In 2015, he moved permanently to Scunthorpe United for two seasons, before joining Plymouth Argyle where he was a regular starter for two seasons.
Ness will join James McPake’s squad as they travel to Spain for pre-season training camp next week.
