TWO yellow weather warnings are in place for parts of Scotland.
Those in the affected areas are urged to be prepared for bad weather for the rest of today and also tomorrow.
Most of Glasgow, Edinburgh and the central belt are affected by today’s warning, which is in place until 11:59pm tonight.
Further snow is expected to fall across the country.
Vast swathes of northern and central Scotland will also be affected by the warning in place for Wednesday from midnight to 3pm.
The Easter weekend saw torrential rain and snow across large parts of the UK, with 10cm falling in northern areas, and around 20 flood warnings in place around the country.
Later on this week, scattered showers are expected on Wednesday, while Thursday is set to be mostly dry.
