Staff at Glasgow Airport have had to keep passengers up to date with flight information online and on whiteboards after the departure board system crashed.
A technical issue this afternoon shut down the system that displays updates regarding what gates flights are departing from and times for boarding commencing and closing.
Updates were provided by staff at the airport in person, via Twitter and on manually updated boards.
An airport spokesperson said: “Our flight information system is temporarily suspended and we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. For the latest flight updates please contact your airline directly.”
The system came back online just before 5pm, with updates continuing online for the time being.
