GLASGOW mum Natalie Green got a big surprise when she went to the cinema – and left engaged to her partner!
Her now fiancé Jordan had hired out a screen at Cineworld, Parkhead for the couple, both 24, to play Call of Duty on the big screen.
With two children, the couple have hardly any time to play one of their favourite video games together.
But during the last half hour of their time, the screen switched from the warfare game to something completely different.
A slideshow, backed with a James Morrison song, played with photos of the couple and their two children.
The final picture showed the boys wearing t-shirts that said ‘Mummy, please marry Daddy!’
Natalie told the Sunday Post: “The whole thing was a surprise!
“We had been out for dinner and then onto the cinema.
“As soon as the song started playing and the first photo came up, my heart was racing.
“Five photos in, tears were streaming down my face – happy tears!”
All that was left to do was to find out the all-important answer – was it a yes or a no?
“After having my hands over my face saying ‘oh my God!’ over 20 times and crying even more by this point, it was a yes!” said Natalie.

The delighted bride-to-be took to Cineworld’s Facebook page to thank staff at the cinema for their help.
She wrote: “I don’t think I shared how thankful I am to the Cineworld staff at Parkhead, Glasgow for making my engagement so special!
“We used to love playing [Call of Duty] but when you have two kids life can get too busy for computer games.
“During the last 30 minutes of our visit, a video came on with loads of pictures of us, our lives so far and our amazing kids with a James Morrison song playing in background.
“It was one of the best moments ever and wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing staff behind the scenes.
“To watch this all happening on the big screen with just us two in the room was so surreal.
“They also gave us a beautiful bunch of flowers and 2 tickets to come back and see the actual movie I thought we were going to.
“Thank you to them all for being part of the planning – it meant the world to us!”
The post has been liked over 23,000 times and more than a thousand well wishers have flooded the comments section with messages for the happy couple.
Amy Rennison wrote: “Probably the single most romantic moment in the history of Parkhead. Congratulations!”
Christine White said: “So beautiful and so thoughtful of your now fiancé, shows just what he thinks of you and your beautiful children.”
And James Lindsay joked: “Congrats, the question is who’s the better Call of Duty player?”
Natalie said: “We feel very overwhelmed by the amount of lovely messages people have been sending us, it’s amazing how many people have taken time to wish us well.”
