A GLASGOW pub has been evacuated after a chemical spill at a nail bar nearby.
Lebowskis, in the city’s Finnieston area, was cordoned off by police with fire and ambulance crews also attending the scene after members of the public reported a strong smell.
An environmental protection unit was also sent to the Argyle Street bar, with Police Scotland revealing an acetone spillage at a neighbouring property was the source of the odour.
A spokesman from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The service was alerted at 11.31am on Friday to reports of a strong chemical smell at a public house on Argyle St, Finnieston.
“The premises have been evacuated and a cordon established as a precaution. There are no casualties. Firefighters currently remain at the scene.”
