A new Glasgow Vegan Winter Festival has been announced for later this month.
The event, at Glasgow Trades Hall in the heart of the city centre, will be playing host to what’s billed as an unforgettable shopping experience.
The event will focus mainly on “cruelty-free Christmas” from Saturday 23nd and Sunday 24th November 2019 from 10.30am to 4.30pm each day.
The festival will host more than 50 stalls that will offer the unique experience of trying vegan Christmas cakes, mince pies and chocolate.
In addition, there will be also make-up, shampoo bars and lots of ethical gift ideas to put under our Christmas trees.
The festival also aims to help reduce food waste and also to help local homeless people. A group of volunteers will provide a hot meal as well as cold dishes to those living on the streets at the end of the festival.
Tickets for the event cost £3 (under 16s free) and this includes entry to all areas and activities. Standard tickets are purchased at the door on the day.
VIP tickets, £15, include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers can be purchased in advance but sell out quickly.
