SCOTS will enjoy the best of Britain’s sunshine through the Bank Holiday weekend and into the week.
Temperatures are expected to top 25C (77F) today as Scotland continues to enjoy blue skies.
Down south, much of England and all of Wales are under warnings of severe weather all weekend, with torrential rain expected to flood out homes and businesses.
Fraser Ralston, of the Met Office, said: ”Most of Scotland will stay fine and sunny through the Bank Holiday weekend.
“The highest temperatures will always be in the west, where we could see 25C in parts of Strathclyde and the West Highlands.
“Monday will be a degree or so cooler and it’s not all parts of the country which will enjoy the very warm temperatures.
“It will be cooler in the north-east due to the winds coming off the North Sea.”
