GRACE REID has become the first Scottish female diver to win a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
And she did it in style, picking up gold in the Women’s 1m springboard.
The Edinburgh diver, who made her Games debut aged just 14 in Delhi, finished with a score of 275.30 ahead of Australia’s Georgie Sheehan and Esther Qin.
The 21-year-old’s victory brings Scotland’s medal total to 40, nine of which are golds.
