HEARTS manager Craig Levein is feeling much better after his health scare but will make a late decision on whether he returns to the dugout at Motherwell on Saturday.
The 53-year-old returned to work earlier this week after being rushed to hospital for treatment on August 27.
Levein said at his pre-match media conference: “I don’t want to go into details but suffice to say I feel a hell of a lot better. I’d like to thank the staff at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary coronary care unit and also the paramedics for everything they did.”
Levein will see how he feels on Friday after picking up a cold which could see him miss the trip to face Stephen Robinson’s Motherwell. But there was nothing wrong with his sense of humour.
“I have a little bit of a cold, which hasn’t helped,” he said. “For me it’s simply about having energy – in case I need to fight with Stephen.”
