The 29-year-old, who spent four seasons at Rangers, was also interesting Hibs and was reportedly due to meet manager Neil Lennon today. But Lafferty has agreed a deal at Tynecastle, subject to a medical, to return to the Scottish top flight for the first time since 2012. He was a free agent after leaving Norwich City having also spent time at Sion and Palermo since leaving Rangers. Lafferty is yet to be officially unveiled by the club, but an eagle-eyed fan posted this picture on Twitter earlier.
