HOLIDAYMAKERS have been left frustrated this morning as Edinburgh Airport experienced a power cut.
The airport announced on Twitter it was experiencing a power failure. Although the power now seems to have returned, the interruption will affect flights.

Edinburgh Trams have posted on twitter that they’ll be accepting Lothian, Airlink, Skylink and Stagecoach tickets to and from Edinburgh airport to help.
We currently accepting all @on_lothianbuses, Airlink, Skylink & @stagecoachgroup to/from @EDI_Airport due to a power outage. #EdinTravel

During the blackout, queues at security swelled as things ground to a halt.

Edinburgh Airport said flights have been disrupted and it’s not possible to provide the usual check-in facilities.
It said engineers are working on the problem and it is urging passengers to come to the airport as usual.
