Judy Murray: If voters have any sense they’ll dump Trump

Donald Trump removes his mask at the White House on Monday

What did you make of Donald Trump’s bizarre photo-opp on the White House balcony after leaving hospital last week?

Having been treated for Covid-19, POTUS told people (via Twitter, of course): “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs and knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago”.

I’m sure those words are a comfort to the 210,000 American people who have died from coronavirus, Mr President!

Honestly, how can we be expected to take this guy seriously when he acts more like a D-list celebrity than a world leader? Everything he does feels like a publicity stunt and, frankly, who’s to say his battle with the virus wasn’t just a clever ploy to detract from his tax controversies and disastrous debates?

Here’s hoping voters say: “You’re fired” to The Apprentice star at the ballot box next month.

Why Kate waited to put a ring on it

According to a new book, Kate Middleton reportedly declined the Queen’s first invite to celebrate Christmas at Sandringham, preferring only to join the royals once she “was engaged and had a ring to prove it”.

She was only 24, but Kate opted to stay at chez Middleton. Well, it’s a daunting prospect for anyone spending that first Christmas with your partner’s family.

Wouldn’t we all rather be on our own sofa at home? With a tin of Quality Street, watching a blockbuster movie – and the Queen’s Christmas Message, of course.
