JUST hearing about Lloyd Griffith’s schedule is enough to make you need a lie-down.
When the comedian and TV presenter chatted to the Sunday Post he had just finished a post-broadcast Soccer AM meeting.
After the debrief, Lloyd (who calls himself a ‘choirboy’) was then heading to Windsor Castle to sing for the Queen.
And if that’s not enough, he then was performing his stand-up show in the evening.
Lloyd, who was in Edinburgh for the Fringe with his show In:Undated, will be heading back up north on Sunday 26th November to take to the stage at The Stand in Glasgow.
August 2017 was Lloyd’s fourth year at the Fringe, and the comedian says the run was his ‘best year so far.’
He said: “The year before was tinged with the sadness of my very recent break-up.
“This year, enough time has passed so it was quite cathartic.”
The aforementioned break-up is at the heart of Lloyd’s comedy set, but don’t worry, it’s a surprisingly heartwarming hour of stand-up despite the subject matter.

Comedy fans at The Stand will be treated to the same Fringe show, although Lloyd said the material had developed with each performance.
He said: “It’s the same show but it does evolve. You don’t want to get up on stage and do the exact same thing every night.
“I record most of my shows and then review to see the funnier bits and what worked best.”
Lloyd said he thought the crowds in Scotland’s capital were ‘lovely’.
“Edinburgh crowds can be quite easy to get along with, it’s quite an artsy environment.
“There were all lovely, none of them really wanted to go for me.”

The stand-up is no stranger to Glasgow either, as he came to visit with Jack Whitehall as his support act earlier in the year.
They had four nights at the Armadillo, and afterwards Lloyd would head along to The Stand for a second show.
Lloyd said: “I’m really looking forward to coming back.
“The Stand in Glasgow has a reputation for being one of the best comedy venues in the UK.”
“The ‘Red Raw’ night there is raucous!”
“Edinburgh in August can be a bit like London, the people are used to having lots of acts to see and choose from.
“When you’re on tour – people are grateful that you came to that city or venue.”
“When I was on tour with Rob Beckett we went to the Oran Mor in Glasgow – that was very lively!”
As the host of Soccer AM and a huge football fan, Lloyd said he won’t shy away from a few jokes about Scottish football when he comes north of the border.
On his last visit, Lloyd and Jack Whitehall even went along to a Rangers training session for a kick-about.
For people who’ve yet to see Lloyd in action, he would describe stand-up as: “A fat little idiot having a lot of fun.”
“My main goal is to have people leaving the show happier than when they turned up, that’s what it’s about really.”
