The Glasgow School of Art was almost completely destroyed last June by a blaze – the second in four years. Photos of the foyer and west tower show just walls and structural beams remain of the Charles Rennie Mackintosh-designed building. © McAteer Photography © McAteer Photography © McAteer Photography © McAteer Photography Despite the damage, Glasgow School of Art board chairwoman Muriel Gray has insisted the building will return. On Friday she hit back at MSPs who accused the school of not doing enough to safeguard the building and called for a public inquiry. She accused contractor Kier of a lack of transparency and MSPs of failing to hold the company to account.
