While Strathbungo in Glasgow may be the more well-known participants of Window Wanderland, other areas in Scotland are springing up to decorate their windows too.
One of these is Maryhill Park in the north of Glasgow, who for the second year, have decorated their bays, sashes and double glazed beauties in a plethora of designs.
The Maryhill Park event took place over the weekend and was organised by Sarah Howitt.
Speaking about the event, Sarah said: ” I’m the co-chair of the Friends of Maryhill park, so I’m fairly involved in organising community stuff. It struck me that our area had lots of similarities with Strathbungo.
“I’ve met lots of people in the neighbourhood I wouldn’t otherwise have met – all ages, and it really seems to appeal to everyone.”
