THESE images show workers on the River Waveney in Suffolk harvesting bulrush from along the river bank.
The fascinating pictures, taken by photographer Joe Giddens, show the team cutting and transporting the tall, reed-like water plants which form the basis for a number of wicker style products.
The natural materials are made into matting, baskets and other household items, while the process of harvesting the river keeps it clear for wildlife and boaters.
