A sailor suffered burns after a 15ft yacht went up in flames at Troon Marina on Friday night.
The Coastguard and Rescue Team, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and a Senior Coastal Operations Officer rushed to Troon Sailing Club when they were alerted to the fire just before 10.30pm.
It is understood a man suffered superficial burns to his hands and legs.
The Ardrossan Coastguard Team provided immediate care before handing the casualty over to the ambulance service.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 10.26pm police were made aware of a boat on fire in the harbour in Troon.”
Fire station manager Rodney Anderson said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue service was alerted at 10.26pm on Friday to reports of a fire. Four appliances responded to Troon Harbour.
“A 15ft yacht was alight when they arrived.
“Due to the yacht being tied to a pontoon with no surrounding land, a water rescue boat was required. The fire was extinguished at 11.30pm.”
