So far, the statues from Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail have raised a fantastic £873,700.

Auctions in Dundee, Aberdeenshire and Edinburgh have each brought in brilliant totals, with bidders spending thousands on the sculptures.

Having lined Scotland’s streets over the summer, they’re now helping to raise funds for The ARCHIE Foundation, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

Oor Wullie statues patiently waiting in the wings ahead of their auction at Thainstone in Inverurie on Tuesday night.
