Organisers of the IRN-BRU Carnival are inviting Scots to take a trip down memory lane as the festive event celebrates its 100th birthday this year.
As part of the 2019 Carnival, a special exhibition will display rare and historic images as well as traditional fairground memorabilia.
And carnival goers past and present have been invited to share their own stories from over the years.
Organisers hope to find couples who met at the Carnival, or who shared a first kiss on the Ferris Wheel.
They’re also looking for families who have made it an annual tradition, visiting every year without fail.
The best stories will be picked to be part of a showreel and may feature as part of the exhibition.
Everyone who submits a story will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win five tickets to this year’s event.
Greg Cherry, Managing Director of Carnival organisers QD Events, said: “The Carnival has been an iconic part of Glasgow’s festive season for the past 100 years and generations of families come year on year.
“We know there are some fabulous stories to tell, so we’re urging everybody to get in touch and help us celebrate the centenary of this wonderful event.”
You can email your stories to carnival@framecreates.co.uk
